So how will 2016 be better for you than 2015? Did you make any New Years resolutions? If you did, how many of them did you already break?
We are barely a week into the New Year, but a LARGE percentage of people will have broken their resolutions by now. And an even larger percentage won’t make it through the month.
But there is a way to instill LASTING change in your life.
A key way to bring change into your life is to set GOALS. These are different from resolutions in a few key ways. But just like a garden, goals require some thought, some planning and some on-going attention and care. But if you do these things, your goals will become RESULTS.

But in the meantime, here are a few key things to do to get started with your goals. We can help you refine them and work them in our coaching.
The first step is to write them down. It is a dream until you write it down.
Secondly, they need to be SMART. SMART is an acronym used to describe "good" goal statements. It stands for Specific, Measurable, Action-Oriented, Realistic/Relevant and Time-Specific.
The best SMART goals are focused, specific, short-term targets that involve things that are under your direct control. This is what makes goals such powerful achievement tools.
