Elements of a Corporate Telecommuting Program

I'm a big proponent of Telecommuting. I think we have progressed with technology and corporate culture to a point where for many people, telecommuting makes sense. I'm the perfect example - working in Center City Philadelphia and living in the suburbs, my daily commute is over 2 hours. That's two hours of productivity I could be experiencing folks! That's another day! I'm the first to admit that there are industries and positions that don't make sense to telecommute. If your job is to interface with the public every day, then you need to go in to the office. But for many of us, our jobs offer a degree of flexibility that allows for at least occasional tele-work. The folks over at WebWorker Daily have compiled a list of elements to have in a corporate telecommuting program. Check it out.  http://bit.ly/yWol2
